We are pleased to announce that we have permissions from NS Environment for us to offer programs in the the Blue Mountain Birch Cove Lakes (BMBCL) Wilderness Area and from NS Department of Natural Resources for us to us the Cole Harbour Heritage Park (CHHP) for the 2017 forest school season (spring to fall).

Please note that the BMBCL Site is not the same site where we were located last year,  we will be accessing our new space from the end of Colins Road.

You can check out the schedule of upcoming programs here.

To Register for available programs:

1. Download and save the Registration Form: 17 Fall WCFS NS Fill Form
Our registration form is a PDF fillable form and works best with the free Adobe Reader Program or App. This form will be updated as new programs are added.
2. Fill it out using the free Adobe Reader program or app.
3. Close and save the form as your child’s name.
4. Send this filled out form as an attachment to: wildchildregistration’AT’sierraclub’DOT’ca
If you need any help with the form, please contact Heidi via email and she will get back to you as soon as she is able.
If your child has already attended a session in 2017, you do not need to fill out the form again, email us your child’s name, which program you would like them to attend, and changes to contacts, medical, or payment information.

Our parent handbook answers a lot of the questions about what forest school is and our policies. If any of the information is unclear or you still have questions, please contact us.

At the first session, every participant will need to bring a paper copy of the liability waiver to the program with them signed in ink. Please do not scan and email. We will have spare forms with us on the first day if you forget. We need a new completed waiver for each new program.
